JOB SUMMARY: As a Mason, you will: • Perform concrete finishing, block laying, plastering, building restoration and equipment use. • Overtime will be required as needed. What You'll Be Doing: • Perform setting forms, screed, installation of reinforcing materials, pouring and spreading concrete. • Perform mixing, spreading mortar, positioning (block, brick, ceramic and/or quarry tile) removing excess mortar, sawing blocks, bricks, etc. to construct or repair for block laying jobs. • Perform cleaning, leveling, scarifying surfaces for bonding of plaster, installation of metal lathe and screeds, mixing and application of plaster on walls/ceilings and proper match with existing surface What We're Looking For: Education & Experience: Qualified candidates will need: • High school diploma/GED required. • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in masonry, concrete finishing, plastering, block laying or building restoration.
