Job Title: Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled Plumber to maintain and repair general plumbing components, including toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains. The role also involves installing, repairing, and replacing domestic hot and cold water lines, steam and hot water exchangers, radiator valves, traps, and condensate pipes. Additionally, the Plumber will be responsible for troubleshooting water and gas distribution systems, ensuring proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and promoting workplace safety and environmental practices. Responsibilities • Maintain and repair general plumbing components such as toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains. • Install, repair, or replace domestic hot and cold water lines. • Repair and replace steam and hot water exchangers for major building heating systems and pools. • Repair and replace radiator valves, traps, and condensate pipes. • Repair and replace domestic hot water heat pumps, chilled water pumps, sump pumps, and sewage pumps. • Install, test, and repair backflow prevention devices of all sizes. • Lead troubleshooting efforts and repairs for water and gas distribution systems. • Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment and supplies, and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. • Provide sketches and drawings for contractors to complete installations. • Research catalogs and vendor services for complex and customized system retrofits. • Coordinate with supervisors and track corrective and preventive maintenance tasks assigned to subcontractors.
