Basic Job Functions: • Fabricate new metal components in accordance with product data sheets and in compliance with all applicable standards of safety and performance. • Perform welding repairs as needed • Perform routine maintenance of the MIG welder and related equipment • Position and secure parts, using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machine hand tools. • Coordinate workflow with other members of the team • Execute particular welds in a professional manner, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. • Work independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects. • Reads and comprehends construction drawings and specifications • Understand and properly use adequate PPE at all times. • Performs related duties as assigned by supervision Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator to join our team at Archer Meat Snacks. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for assembling, constructing, and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems used in food production. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of production lines and maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.
