The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding, fabricating, and repairing pipelines and structural components used in oilfield drilling and production operations. This position requires expertise in various welding techniques, strict adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in challenging environments. Key Responsibilities: • Perform SMAW (Stick), GTAW (TIG), and FCAW (Flux-Core) welding on high-pressure pipelines, structural steel, and offshore equipment. • Weld and fabricate carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic alloys per project specifications. • Conduct inspections and repairs on subsea pipelines, risers, and topside structures as needed. • Work from blueprints, schematics, and welding procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship. • Operate welding and cutting tools, including oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, and grinders. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (API, ASME, AWS). • Assist in rigging, fitting, and assembly of pipes and structural components. • Maintain welding equipment and perform minor repairs to keep tools in optimal condition. • Collaborate with engineers, pipe fitters, and other crew members to complete projects efficiently.
